HEARTWARMING TRAILER FOR "BIG MIRACLE" WITH DREW BARRYMORE & JOHN KRASINSKI. BLAKE LIVELY IN "PRIDE & PREJUDICE & ZOMBIES"! CASEY AFFLECK GABRIEL, CAMILLA BELLE IS EVE IN "PARADISE LOST"?

 One of the most interesting upcoming movie projects, the epic adaptation of John Milton's famous PARADISE LOST, is
getting new actors. As "Variety" reports, director Alex Proyas could offer the role of the six winged angel Gabriel, who is God's messenger, to Casey Affleck (I'm not seeing this choice), while gorgeous Camilla Belle (Evolet from 10,000BC) is the lead contender for the role of the first woman Eve. As I told you before, the film will follow the epic war (including aerial battles) between Lucifer, played by Bradley Cooper who is the producer as well, and angel Michael (Benjamin Walker), while Djimon Hounsou will play Abdiel, the angel of death.

HOLLYWOOD SPY HEADLINES
I've personally never watched 24, but some of you might like the news that Kiefer Sutherland is returning to TV in TOUCH at
Fox as a father of a mute soon who has ability to see things that no one else can and the patterns that connect seemingly unrelated events. After a gazillion of actresses have turned down the lead role in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES, including Emma Stone, Scarlett Johanssen and that Portman woman, the new face in the game is Blake Lively who could play in the film which could finally make you like Jane Austen's insipid story, since chaste Miss Elizabeth Bennet will be under an attack of bloodthirsty undead people :) The film is based on the novel by Seth Grahame Smith.

Your trailer for today is the first one for BIG MIRACLE, a heartwarming true story which should hit cinemas next February telling the amazing tale of a small town news reporter (John Krasinski) and a Greenpeace volunteer (Drew Barrymore) who are joined by rival world superpowers to save a family of majestic
gray whales trapped by rapidly forming ice in the Arctic Circle.  With time running out, they must rally an unlikely coalition of Inuit natives, oil companies and Russian and American military to set aside their differences and free the whales. As the world's attention turns to the top of the globe, saving these endangered animals becomes a shared cause for nations entrenched against one another and leads to a momentary thaw in the Cold War. The cast also includes Dermot Mulroney, Ted Danson and Serbian actor Stefan Kapicic.

  1. I'm curious whether Drew Barrimore can pull off such a role - a green lady. Should be interesting. Nahno ∗ McLein

  6. Big Miracle looks quirky and heart warming! I have lived in Alaska, twice. We use to drive to a certain point on Adak Island and go whale watching! Touch sounds interesting~ I saw a few Zombies in the book store today. Chocolate did help ;D

  10. The Big Miracle looks terrific. Sometimes I just love those kinds of movies.

    Blake doing an English accent? I don't know... Then again she can't be any worse than Gwyneth Paltrow. :) I wonder why so many actresses have turned down the part? I'm just glad Natalie did. I don't hate her, but she just didn't seem right for the part. But at least whoever takes the role won't be Keira Knightly, LOL.

  12. Thank you for making me cry first thing in the morning! That whale story is so touching. I don't think I'll go see it because it'll leave me too emotional. Have something with more killing?

    wow, you lived at Alasca, that must have been a great experience. I love cold regions with snow and freezing temperatures :)

    @Shells
    she is always lovely to watch, isn't she? Geeky and charming and lovable

    @Melsy
    it would be very interesting hearing Blake's posh accent :) She did have some really nice roles, so she could do it and she does need a big blockbuster role since GREEN LANTERN didn't go as planned.

  16. I have my doubts about making Paradise Lost into a movie. just sayin...

  17. Wow, Camilla Belle has sure grown up since her stint as that annoying little girl at the beginning of LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK who gets attacked by little dinosaurs.

    BIG MIRACLE looks a bit wet, pun intended.

    yep, the cast of the film doesn't really fill you with trust, yes? :) They are not the actors which regularly appear in epics, and plus Proyas isn't the greatest of directors. But we shall wait and see what happens :)

  19. @Movies
    I totally don't remember her from JURASSIC PARK, but she has grown up over the last few years. Have you seen her as Evolet in Emmerich's 10,000 BC? She is also known for her modeling work, and for her fling with the hottest of the Jonas brothers, Joe :) Although they more look like brother and sister than lovers :)

  22. Big Miracle looks like the sort of film that will be a big winner with me. I think what will differentiate it from being merely good as opposed to excellent is how they relate the whale's plight with Drew Barrymore's character. If the film gets that right, it'll be great.

  23. Paradise Lost sound like something that's worth to wait.

  24. @Dan
    yes, that's true. We shall keep our fingers crossed, but I have faith in both Krasinski and Barrymore

    @Jaccsy
    it sure does!

  25. I like P&P&Z so I hope the movie is good.

    Also, if Camille is what Eve looked like, that would explain why Adam didn't notice the apples on the tree: he was too busy looking at Eve's apples.
